Oreneta is a small studio. We collect the smallest amount of personal data we can to run a shop honestly, and we keep none of it longer than we have to.

Who we are

Oreneta is the trading name of a company registered in Spain, with its operating address in Valencia. You can reach us at hello@oreneta.eu for any question about your data — we read every message.

What we collect, and why

  • To send you an order: your name, shipping address, email address, phone number (used only if the courier needs to reach you), and a record of what you bought.
  • To take payment: we never see your card details. They are handled by Shopify Payments / Stripe, who are PCI-DSS certified.
  • To improve the shop: aggregated, anonymised information about which pages people visit, which products they look at, and which emails they open.
  • To stay in touch (only if you let us): your first name and email, until you unsubscribe.

Who we share data with

We share the minimum that an order requires. In practice that means: Shopify (the platform that runs the shop), the chosen payment processor, the courier delivering your parcel, and Hertwill (our dropshipping partner who forwards orders to the maker who fulfils them). We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years for tax and accounting reasons, as required by Spanish law (Ley General Tributaria). Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe. Anonymised analytics are kept for up to 26 months.

Your rights under the GDPR and LOPDGDD

You can ask us to: see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, transfer it to another service, or restrict how we use it. Email us at hello@oreneta.eu and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our reply you may contact the Spanish data protection authority, Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

We use only the cookies that are necessary to run the shop and a small set of anonymised analytics cookies. You can read about each one in our Cookie Policy.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will note the new date at the top and, if the change is significant, we will email subscribers.
